Creating a task
To create a new task - write its name in this big field and hit enter. By default the new task appears in the only one visible, or the recently used project, it’s set for today and it’s assigned to you.
To create a new task in a different project - click on the project icon, choose another project, then write the task name and hit enter. From now on the new project will be the default one for all new tasks. You can change it again the same way.
To create a new task set for a different date - first click on the calendar icon and choose the deadline from the calendar, then write the name of your task and hit enter. The new date is remembered in case you want to flood this day with many more tasks (so you won’t have to pick this date every damn time). If you don’t want that absolutely awesome convenient new date to be default - click on the “x” icon next to it and it’ll come back to “Today”.
To create a new task assigned to someone else than yourself (you’re not alone anymore!) - first click on the “people” icon and choose the lucky person, then write the name of the task and hit enter. The list of people to choose from will be based on a project you have previously chosen.
If you want to assign the task to someone outside the project, Learn how to invite someone to a project >. From now on this person will be the default assignee. If you want to go back to the default setting, click on the “x” icon next to the name.
